Community conduct & moderation
Covenanters is a serious learning platform for a church community. Contributions should be truthful, charitable, and on-topic — and every member has tools to report content and manage what they see.
Write as you would speak in a congregational meeting: honestly, carefully, and about the matter rather than the person.
Standards
What we expect
Wiki edits and talk-page posts should be accurate and sourced where possible. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, mockery, spam, and off-topic promotion are not. Community question submissions are reviewed by administrators before anything is published, and live game rooms are moderated by their hosts, who can strike written entries and remove players.
Reporting
How reports work
Signed-in members can report a wiki page or a talk-page post from the "Report" controls beside the content. Reports go to a private queue reviewed by the site's content managers, ordinarily within 7 days. Reviewers act through the lane's own moderation tools — hiding posts, correcting or rolling back revisions, or contacting the member — and record an outcome on every report. Reports do not remove content by themselves.
Blocking
Managing what you see
Any member can block another member — from a report dialog or in Settings. Blocking hides that member's talk-page posts from your views. Blocks are personal: they never change what other members see, and you can undo them at any time. Content managers keep the full view so moderation still works.
Accounts
Enforcement and your account
Repeated or serious violations can lead administrators to restrict contribution permissions or membership status, with actions recorded in the site's audit history. You can delete your own account at any time in Settings or via the deletion request page; contributions that are part of the shared record remain with your name replaced by "Departed Member".
